Police are investigating a fatal accident that occurred at about 06:35 hrs this morning (Tuesday, 26th March 2024) at the intersection of Brickdam and Brummel Place, Georgetown, which resulted in the death of motorcyclist Nigel Harvey, a 34-year-old of Lot 731 ‘C’ Field Sophia, Georgetown.
The accident involved a minibus (#BWW 693) owned and driven by Keith Texeira-Livingstone, a 70-year-old resident of Lodge Housing Scheme, and motorcycle #CL 8444, owned and driven by Nigel Harvey (now deceased).
Based on the investigation, the minibus was proceeding North along the western drive lane of Brummel Place, whilst the motorcycle was proceeding West along the southern drive lane of Brickdam (public road), as both vehicles approached the intersection of Brickdam and Brummel Place.

He was picked up by EMT personnel in an unconscious condition and transported to the Georgetown Public Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival at 06:55 hrs.
