Edwin Cova, a 34-year-old Venezuelan national and resident of Third Avenue Bartica, appeared today (Wednesday) at the Bartica Magistrate’s Court, where he was charged with Possession of Narcotics for the Purpose of Trafficking.
He pleaded not guilty to the charge and was remanded to prison. The matter was adjourned to 3rd May 2024 for continuation.
Cova was arrested in Bartica on March 31st, 2024 after he was found to be in possession of 29.1 grams of suspected Cocaine.
